Technical Artist (Games)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with different departments to ensure the seamless integration of artistic elements and technical functionality
  • Support art content production by advancing art pipelines, workflows, and methodologies
  • Handle asset optimization, integration, performance profiling, and validation
  • Develop tools and processes that facilitate content authoring with an emphasis on user experience, quality, and productivity
  • Assist with asset creation or re-invention in domains outside your area of expertise if needed
  • Create and maintain technical documentation
  • Performing any other works which may be assigned from time to time
  • Performing and responsibilities are compliance with regulations and internal audit processes

JOB & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 1 year of experience as a technical artist
  • A passion for games, an interest and awareness in the latest trends, tools, technology, and approaches in creating content
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Blender, Maya, and Unreal Engine
  • An artistic eye and a solid understanding of the art pipeline
  • Basic understanding of 3D concepts (meshes and UV mapping)
  • Basic knowledge of texture creation
  • An understanding of particle systems, optimization, profiling
  • Ability to build and integrate particle effects using custom shaders
  • Knowledge of version control software
  • Interest in – shader development, pipeline and tool development, VFX / particles, and real-time physics simulations
  • Fairly proficient in scripting and coding
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills both Thai and English
