Line Producer

JOB BRIEF

            The Line Producer is responsible for developing and implementing the overall strategy of a project in collaboration with other key stakeholders. This encompasses scheduling, estimating, budget management, and client relations. In the meantime, the Line producer will learn how to allocate resources and understand budgeting management.

            Internally, the Line Producer will collaborate with supervisors, offering solutions across all production phases as dictated by the project’s scope. Moreover, the Producer leverages negotiation and communication skills, coupled with an understanding of artistic and creative aspects, to deliver the highest quality storytelling achievable within budgetary and scheduling constraints.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with the department supervisor/coordination and stakeholders department to ensure that the project meets all quality standards.
  • Manage and control the project, including manday allocation, schedules, and deadlines, to ensure that projects are completed on time and deliver high-quality work in a timely manner.
  • Review submissions if they are ready for further development or revision, ensuring that the final product meets quality standards before release to the public.
  • Coordinate with the Director, VFX, CG, and department supervisor to ensure that all creative aligns with the director’s vision.
  • Coordinate with the client to ensure that their needs are met throughout the production process.
  • Ensure that your performance and responsibilities comply with regulations and internal audit processes.
  • Oversee production, working closely with the production team to ensure that all production goals and deadlines are met. When issues/problems arise, bring forward suggestions on how to resolve the issues/problems.
  • Main contact with partner studios and to work closely with them to ensure that the projects are on track and clear on expectations for the week. Flag any delays from Turner to Partner and vice versa. Ensure that new requests from the partners are reviewed and responded to on time.
  • Manages, mentors and guides the Production Managers daily to ensure all show needs are met
  • Supervising the project’s production team to meet their job description.
  • Able to deal with and resolve conflict with a capacity for suggesting well-reasoned solutions within a positive, passionate, and creative atmosphere.
  • Able to foresee and plan the production flow for the team along with supervisors.
  • Be able to manage small to medium projects to success and profit while still maintaining the crew’s health and positive work environment.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

JOB & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

  • 4+ years of experience working within a production team in either of these following: VFX, 2D and 3D Animation, Game Production, or a related industry.
  • Proficiency in scheduling and working knowledge of database tracking software.
  • Quick adapter and fast learner.
  • Must be proactive and an effective problem solver.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • High level of organizational skills, including proactive prioritization, effective time management, and the ability to handle rapid context-switching.
  • Must have the ability to lead with a positive attitude and encourage collaboration.
  • Be able to ‘read the room’.
  • Patient and empathetic nature under high pressure.
  • Can-do attitude. Dream big and make it a reality.
  • Proficiency in both Thai and English (reading, writing, and speaking).

  • Knowing Linux is a plus.
  • A third language in Chinese and/or Japanese is a plus.
