IP Coordinator

Location: Onsite – Pattanakarn 17, Bangkok, Thailand

Reports to: IP Manager

Job Summary

The IP Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the IP Manager in developing, managing, and coordinating original and coproduction projects. This position involves handling project documentation, communication, research, and organizational tasks to ensure the smooth workflow of IP development and pitching, before passing projects to production preparation.


Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination & Documentation

  • Assist in managing and organizing pitch bibles, scripts, artwork, and other project-related documents.
  • Track project timelines and deliverables to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Maintain an organized database of all IP-related files, contracts, and reference materials.

Communication & Coordination

  • Act as a point of contact between internal teams (marketing, artists, writers, producers, directors) and external stakeholders (studios, partners, distributors, investors).
  • Schedule and prepare materials for meetings, pitches, and industry events.
  • Take meeting notes and follow up on action points to keep projects moving forward.

Creative & Production Support

  • Assist in organizing creative brainstorming sessions for new IP concepts.
  • Support the development of pitch presentations and marketing materials.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to promote The Monk Studios’ IPs across various platforms.

Industry Research & Market Analysis

  • Work with the CEO and marketing team to conduct research on market trends, competitors, and potential partners.
  • Compile industry insights to support IP development strategies.
  • Identify relevant animation festivals, pitch markets, and funding opportunities.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Arts(Mass Communication), Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of animation production pipelines is a plus.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Ability to manage documents, presentations, and reports effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Passion for animation, storytelling, and IP.
