Job Brief:
We are looking for a skilled Crowd Artist to develop dynamic and realistic crowd animations that seamlessly integrate into visual effects scenes. You will work closely with the creative team to design crowd behavior, plan scenes, and bring life to complex environments using industry-standard tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and create crowd animations that are both dynamic and realistic, integrating seamlessly into various visual effects scenes.
- Collaborate with the creative team to determine crowd behavior requirements and contribute to scene planning and design.
- Utilize industry-standard software and tools to create, animate, and simulate crowd movements and interactions.
- Implement various crowd behaviors (e.g., reactions to events, movement patterns, and crowd dynamics) to enhance storytelling.
- Perform quality control to ensure animations meet artistic and technical standards and are delivered on schedule.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to crowd simulation and animation.
- Stay updated with the latest techniques, tools, and best practices in crowd animation and simulation.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Visual Effects, Computer Graphics, or related field or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as a Crowd Artist or similar role in the animation and VFX industry.
- Proficiency in 3D software.
- Familiarity with crowd simulation software and tools (e.g., Golaem, Miarmy, or similar).
- Strong understanding of animation principles, crowd dynamics, and character movement.
- Excellent artistic and creative skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with various departments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
- A portfolio demonstrating previous crowd animation work is required.
