The Monk Studios are seeking a Compositing Artist to join our Animation or CG Team. The
ideal candidate should be motivated and well-organized with the desire to work within a fast paced
team of highly skilled and experienced artists.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with the Composite Supervisor and Senior Artists to understand the look of individual sequences to achieve technical and artistic objectives while respecting the story.
- Receive master shots for sequences and work with direction from the Composite Supervisor to composite them.
- Perform all tasks associated with the compositing process, including 2D tracking, matte extraction, layering of elements, and color grading on difficult shots
- Composites shots using prescribed software and programs in line with the technical and creative requirements of The Monk Studios Animation Project.
- Work ensures that shots meet the render requirements and are completed in a timely manner.
- Work with the team to discuss and resolve issues pertaining to the shots from submit shots in dailies.
- Performing any other works which may be assigned from time to time.
- Performing and responsibilities are compliance with regulations and internal audit processes.
JOB AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of 2 -5 years of experience in Compositing
- Education related to the position and the Animation Industry.
- Good knowledge of software : Nuke, Maya (preferred)
- Ability to Problem Solving, Communication Skills, Team work, Positive Thinking, Presentation Skills.
